I know I don’t have a large following, and I don’t even know how many people actually give a shit about my blog, but:
I think everyone’s attention needs to be drawn to the artist Mac Miller. He’s a pretty popular rapper. He’s also a music thief. In his recent album Macadellic he sampled the Warm Speakers song The World Around You in his song Fuck ‘Em All WITHOUT PERMISSION.

As I said earlier, I know I don’t have a very big follower count, but those I am followed by do. And, if anything, I do know the power tumblr has had to raise awareness. Warm Speakers receives little to no compensation for any of his work as he makes it freely available on his bandcamp. However, Mac Miller never asked for permission to use a sampling for Warm Speakers’ song, which is copyrighted, and is using it for personal gain. Please, tumblr, stop this theft from a hardworking musician that does what he does for the love of music and not for the money.
